She Was Pretty Episode 2 Thoughts

I know this is a dumb thing to do but whenever I’m with him, I feel like a sock with a hole. ‘What if he realizes?’ ‘Wouldn’t I be caught?’ I feel embarrassed and poor, so I shrink not knowing that I am. I’d end up hiding and concealing myself over and over again. Like a sock with a hole. I don’t want to be a sock with a hole anymore.

Well when the girl puts it like that, how can you not root for her? It looks like viewers in Korea also really enjoyed the first episode of She Was Pretty seeing as the ratings jumped from 4.8% to 7.2% for episode two! Yay!

First Look: She Was Pretty Episode 1 Thoughts

“Reality is when suddenly one day, without any warning, it escapes our expectation. That’s why in life, you can’t let your guard down. Expectations don’t work.”

Look who finally got back to writing! This gal! Hopefully some of you are still reading this little ol’ blog of mine *crickets chirp*…………

Anyways, She Was Pretty finally aired and let me tell you, the first episode was fantastic! If my current feelings for the show are any indication, I think I’m going to fall very hard for this show. I’m so excited and giddy…if you couldn’t already tell. It’s almost ridiculous, considering that only one episode has aired, but like falling in love at first sight, there’s no rhyme or reason to the human heart is there? So show, I beg of you, please don’t make me eat my words!

Drama Review: A Witch’s Romance

Okay, I admit it. The reason I initially stayed away from A Witch’s Romance was for a completely superficial reason; that reason being Uhm Jung Hwa’s looks. I know, I’m a terrible person. However, I am sooooo glad that I decided to give the show a chance and Uhm is wonderful; I can’t think of any other actress that can play her character better than she did. A Witch’s Romance is actually a remake of the popular Taiwanese show, My Queen, starring Cheryl Yang and the always charming and charismatic Ethan Ruan. As with most dramas from tvN, the show is fantastic. Although a remake, it gives it a refreshing twist and most importantly, it was beyond romantic. Like really, really romantic! I enjoyed it so thoroughly that I marathoned the entire thing in three days. Who of us hasn’t forgone sleep in order to watch just one more episode, which ends up being five episodes, and then it’s six in the morning? I know it’s not just me…

WARNING: SPOILERS FROM HERE ON OUT. Like for realz. Also, be prepared for A LOOOOT of screencaps!
